Back in the 70’s there was a popular Saturday morning television program called “Kids Are People Too” that I enjoyed. The message implied by the title of this program is especially true in rental housing: children, along with their families, have a right to equal access to housing. The Federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988 made it illegal to deny housing to families with children.
