City Ordinances - New Legislation Passed

• Rental units under the ordinance are one of at least 5 residential rental units under common ownership, with some exemptions including: hospitals, mobile homes, etc (see Hayward website for full list of exemptions)
• Hayward:  5% cap on rent controlled units; 10% if no increase was given the year before
