Alameda County Fair Chance Focus Group

EBRHA invites you to attend an important Fair Chance Housing Focus Group Meeting hosted by the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Department on Friday, May 29th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

This listening session will gather feedback from rental housing providers who are familiar with Oakland's Fair Housing Ordinance or have rental property in the unincorporated areas of Alameda County to help County staff develop a Fair Chance ordinance for those areas. County staff will be present to hear concerns, implementation challenges, and operational feedback as they work to finalize an ordinance for future Board of Supervisors consideration.

Attendees will receive:

• Basic information about the proposed policy

• A copy of Oakland’s Fair Chance Ordinance for reference

• An opportunity to provide direct feedback to County officials

As housing regulations continue to evolve across the East Bay, it is critical that rental housing providers participate in these discussions and help shape policies before they are adopted.
