In today’s unpredictable economy, rental housing providers need more than operational knowledge, they need strong financial literacy, strategic planning tools, and a clear path toward long-term equity. That’s why EBRHA is excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar:

Housing Equity Through Financial Education: Why Knowledge Protects Providers and Renters

This powerful panel discussion brings together financial experts, housing leaders, and seasoned rental owners to help you navigate the complex realities of owning and operating rental housing, especially in a fast-changing, heavily regulated East Bay!

Discussion Topics

Our panelists will dig into the real issues rental housing providers are facing right now, including:

  • Taxes & Wealth-Building: What’s the best tax scenario for rental housing owners? How do depreciation, capital gains, and timing improvements impact your bottom line?
  • Equity & Borrowing Strategies: Should you take equity out for a 2nd or 3rd mortgage? When does refinancing make sense in today's rate environment?
  • 1031 Exchanges: When should you pursue a 1031 exchange, and when might it work against you?
  • Market Trends & Economic Forecasts: How do inflation, global instability, and rising interest rates affect the East Bay rental housing market?
  • Private Debt, Bonds & Alternative Investments: What tools exist beyond traditional lending? Why are some investors turning to gold?
  • Budgeting & Capital Improvements: How to financially plan for maintenance, compliance requirements, and major future upgrades.
  • Long-Term Planning: Understanding where your portfolio stands—and where you want it to be in 5–10 years.
