Non-Smoking Legislation in Alameda County

About the presentation

Alameda County already has a smoke-free multi-unit housing ordinance in effect for the unincorporated areas of the county. Since July 1, 2022, smoking tobacco and cannabis has been prohibited in multi-unit housing, including private units and certain outdoor areas, in communities such as Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Ashland, Cherryland, Fairview, and Hayward Acres.
