About the Presentation

This event is a composition of local subsidy programs within the Bay Area providing owners of available subsidy programs for renters. This event will include breakout rooms and sessions to ask more in depth questions about the programs available to rental housing providers. 

• Abode Services - Abode Services' mission is to end homelessness by assisting low-income, un-housed people, including those with special needs, to secure stable, supportive housing; and to be advocates for the removal of the causes of homelessness.
• BACS - Provides innovative behavioral health and housing services for teens, adults, older adults, and their families across the Bay Area. We envision a world where all people are healthy, safe, and engaged in community wellness, with access to quality housing.

Presenters

Rebecca Kaplan, Abode Services, Real Estate Specialist -  Works to find Rental Housing Providers and/or Property Managers who are willing to collaborate with Abode's program in housing her clients. She works with clients who have Vouchers and/or internal Abode subsidies and has housed hundreds of people in just the last couple of years.
