Senior Manager, Marketing & Strategic Growth (Full Time)

ABOUT EBRHA:

East Bay Rental Housing Association (EBRHA) is a nonprofit trade association serving rental housing providers in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties since 1939. With nearly 1,500 members, EBRHA is entering a period of strategic growth focused on expanding membership and strengthening its presence in the local housing community.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Marketing & Growth, is responsible for building community and leading EBRHA’s member growth engine (from $1.5M to $3M+), which includes driving new member acquisition while strengthening the systems that support public engagement and long-term member retention. Using the latest AI and automation tools, this role is directly accountable to EBRHA’s revenue growth by driving measurable increases in new member acquisition, sponsorship pipeline development, and marketing-sourced revenue. Success will be evaluated based on the role’s ability to consistently generate qualified leads and improved conversion rates that support overall organizational revenue targets.

The role also sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating EBRHA’s mission, policy work, and industry expertise into clear, compelling campaigns that expand our reach across housing providers, property management companies, and industry partners throughout the East Bay and beyond.

Working closely with the CEO and in coordination with membership success, revenue/partnerships, and general operations functions, this role will design and implement scalable marketing systems and programs from lead generation to onboarding, ensuring consistent outreach and measurable growth. The ideal candidate brings both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, with the ability to prioritize high-impact opportunities, manage external contractor resources, and continuously refine marketing metrics and performance data. This position is designed to grow into a more senior-level role as EBRHA expands, playing a central part in shaping how the organization engages, expands, and leads within the housing ecosystem.

Housing is one of the most complex and misunderstood systems in California. At EBRHA, we sit at the epicenter bridging housing providers, renter communities, policymakers and the broader public to create practical, scalable solutions. This is not a traditional marketing role. We’re looking for a seasoned leader to help lead that next phase of expansion.
